June 2022 Happenings

Lots of fun things are happening in Albion in June 2022!

June events are shown here beginning with National Trails Day in Albion.

On the first Saturday in June, the whole country celebrates National Trails Day! This is a nationwide event that encourages people to get outside and explore the beautiful trails our country has to offer. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just looking for a casual stroll in nature, there’s a trail for everyone. So get up and get moving—the outdoors are waiting!
In Albion, join with others on June 4, 2022!
At 10am at the South Trailhead, join us for the naming ceremony in the new county park!
Then at 11:30, the City will be hosting a ribbon cutting for the Albion River Trail Expansion Project at McAuliffe Park, on the corner of Albion and Austin.
Walk the trail to Stirling Books & Brew and then over to McAuliffe Park (or bike or drive) for 11:30 Ribbon Cutting on the trail extension there!
After the festivities at McAuliffe Park end, walk back to Stirling Books & Brew and enjoy more festivities, some ice cream and goodies, and some surprises for those folks on the trail!

Below are some quick snapshots.  All times and dates are subject to change so double-check the times before making a special trip!
