Ribbon Cutting Trail Expansion
McAuliffe Park, Albion Michigan
Saturday, June 4th is National Trails Day, and the City of Albion is hosting a ribbon cutting at 11:30am on the River Trail Expansion in McAuliffe Park.
The Greater Albion Chamber of Commerce will be there for the ribbon cutting, with plenty of local and regional officials. Join your area friends and neighbors for this exciting day!
After the ceremony, walk the trail!
You can walk the new trail to the west or walk east to Stirling Books & Brew and continue the celebration!
FEEL FREE TO PARK behind Stirling Books & Brew for the day, and make Stirling your “home base” while you enjoy the activities at both ends of the trail and all along the trail.
Daniel McAuliffe was the 17th mayor of Albion.
From the City of Albion website:
“This heavily-used park next to Harvard Industries features 10 acres with a baseball field, a basketball court, a picnic area, a playground, and a flower garden. The park was named for former Mayor Daniel M. McAuliffe. Restrooms are available.”
