Albion’s Health & Safety Expo is back in full swing this year! Come out on Saturday, June 29 from 12 p.m. – 2p.m. at the Albion Ambulance and Fire Station, 207 N. Clinton Street, Albion, MI to learn about how you can improve you and your family’s health and safety.
The event will feature over 20 local organizations whose resources can help you navigate through critical situations like emergencies, food safety, and making your home more energy efficient. Albion Health Care Alliance has organized this event for the last six years and they are excited to bring back a full experience for you, your family and friends.
The last few years the event was drive-through only to accommodate the health and safety of everyone during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now that the event is back to in-person, the organizers are excited to have raffle prizes to participants. In addition to all of the resources you’ll receive, you could win gift cards, and six different bicycles will be raffled – including bikes for different ages!
When asked about the significance of this gathering, event organizer Alfredia Dysart-Drake shared, “It is so important for our community to know that all of these agencies are here to serve the community. A lot of the time, people do not realize the programs and services that are available to them.”
