Albion Branch NAACP announces their Annual Back to School Backpack distribution on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Harrington Elementary, 5:30 – 6:30, following Harrington’s Open House.
This is a School Opening Celebration for Albion students and parents to kick off the 2023-2024 school year with excitement. Students will receive a backpack, school supplies, information, and materials from community partners, health care consultants will give updates on the student immunization schedule and many more special activities and treats will be available for children in attendance. Sponsors include Albion NAACP, Albion Community Foundation, Play Right Sports Academy, Albion Big Read, and Orchards Children’s Services.
