Albion’s Residential Clean-up

Date and Time: Saturday, June 29th, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Locations:

  1. Ketchum Field, corner of North Street and N. Clark Street. Map Link
  2. Harris Field, corner of W. Cass Street and Gale Street. Map Link

The City of Albion’s annual residential clean-up is scheduled for this Saturday, June 29th. Residents are encouraged to participate in this event to dispose of unwanted items and contribute to the community’s environmental well-being. Proof of City of Albion residency is required to drop off items.

Accepted Items:

  • Appliances with certified Freon removed (doors must be removed).
  • Latex paint (must be solidified with sand or cat litter).
  • Furniture.
  • Boxed or clear plastic bagged loose trash (limited to what two people can lift).
  • Small amounts of building or demolition materials (boxed or bundled no larger than 4 feet by 3 feet by 2 feet).
  • Tires without rims or wheels (Ketchum Field only, maximum of 7 tires per load, no tractor, loader, semi, or monster truck tires).
  • Electronics (Ketchum Field only).

Not Accepted Items:

  • Liquids or hazardous materials (including oil-based paint).
  • Batteries, car parts, or heavy iron.
  • Rocks, sand, concrete, rubble, or dead animals.
  • Appliances containing Freon.
  • Garbage.
  • Brush, stumps, grass, or leaves.
  • Large amounts of building or demolition materials.
  • Industrial or commercial waste.
  • Loose trash.

Ketchum Field is near the Albion Armory, North of “5 points.” At the top of this post is a map of the setup from 2023, that will be similar to 2024.
