General Guide – Winter 2022 -Hope Edition – 38th Issue
If you live in the city of Albion or rural Albion, look inside the Morning Star shopper newspaper the weekend of January 9th to get your copy of General Guide – Winter 2022 – Hope Edition. We welcome the year 2022 with a mixture of feelings, including being grateful to be alive, thankful for vaccines that are saving lives, and a bit of dread of what will come next. But amid all of that is hope. Hope for the Spring that will come in a few months, and hope for ways to get help and give help.
Albion Design & Marketing created this 38th issue of the General Guide. The Guide features art, calendars, and a list of frequently called numbers that include businesses that help support this work to share positive information about the Albion area.
General Guide 2022 has some art of Snow People on the front and features calendars for January, February, and March. The printed General Guide also has a poem from 100 years ago about the frustrations of winter and waiting for Spring and the difficulty of being patient for the more challenging times to end. The back of the Guide has calendars of February and March, with photo art of a crocus emerging out of the snow, a natural symbol of hope and persistence.
The Guide reminds us that we can also do some things while we are waiting for warmer weather and better news on the pandemic. As usual, you can go online to learn more about the stories featured in the General Guide.
