The Festival of the Forks – On the third weekend in September, Albion celebrates its river and the varied cultures of its people.
The annual tradition began in 1966, the Festival was named in recognition of the Kalamazoo River forks near the town center. Ethnic foods and entertainment highlight the day.

The Cruise in takes place on Friday night of the Festival. This view is from the fire truck.
The Run Albion 5K takes place several times a year and last year, they ran through the car show on Friday night. Look for them again this year.
Albion College's Briton Brigade Marching Band is always one of the highlights of the morning parade.
The Courtyard by Marriott float had a music theme.
The rubber ducky contest is a great way to show off Albion's river running through downtown, right under the Coca-Cola mural. Look for the ducks at about 2:00.
It's fun to run into old friends at the Festival of the Forks.
Collectors can see and buy old coins, books, and festival buttons from historian Frank Passic.
Cascarelli's is at the center of Albion and is the center of the Festival also.
We had an opportunity to sign a big thank you card for Mona Saldana in 2022, sadly, she was gone one month later. She will be missed and was the best-known cook of the whole event.
