Festival of the Forks 2017

This year the Festival was not on the brick Superior Street, but in true Albion style we adapted to the situation and made it work.  These aerial photos show a different perspective of where most of the activities were.

Superior Street Albion MI – short clip – curb appeal July 21, 2017

Short clip – The new shape of Superior Street Albion Michigan begins to appear with more room for bicycle paths through town.  The rebricking process involved installing new water mains, and major digging.  Meanwhile, the brick facade of the new Courtyard by Marriott hotel is moving along.  Work on Superior Street is expected to be complete for Albion College Homecoming in October 2017 if not sooner, possibly in September.

Harrington School is once again a home of education for students who live in Albion up to grade five.  The school had been closed due to financial and attendance issues for the past three years.  Now, Harrington is part of the newly enlarged Marshall Public School District.  Harrington is a great place for volunteers and interns from Albion College, it is so close by.
“Welcome Home Albion.”
