A great story from Senior Care Partners PACE! Keeping in touch with the world, whatever that may look like for you, is incredibly important.Tony, a PCA noticed that Dave’s HAM radio needed to be hooked up as the wiring was cut by accident by someone doing his lawn care. Rachel, NP heard about the issue and went to work to find someone who could help rewire it. She found a gentleman who was more than willing to help re-wire the antennae so that he could use his HAM radio again. They came out to the house last week and fixed it! Dave uses his HAM radio to talk to people from all over the world but what he loves best about the HAM radio is that he can tune into his favorite channel- a group of friends he considers his spiritual family. At Senior Care Partners P.A.C.E. Albion, we don’t just focus on the medical issues of our participants, we focus on the whole person…what does he/she value? What brings them joy? What will help improve their quality of life? If your treatment team thinks something will improve your life, we will find a way to make it happen!
