Naming the South Trailhead just past Riverside Cemetery, across from the Elks Club. The address is 10757 28 Mile Rd., Albion, MI

County Park Naming Ceremony
Saturday, June 4th is National Trails Day, and Calhoun County Parks and Recreation is unveiling the name for the new county park, south of Riverside Cemetery. At 10am at this South Trailhead, join us for the naming ceremony in the new county park!
The park features a paved trail, a kiosk and access to three trails including the Iron Bell Trail, the North Country Trail, and the Albion River Trail.
Join Doug Ferrall, the Director of the Calhoun County Parks Department and our local scouts, officials and area friends and neighbors for this exciting day!

After the ceremony, walk the trail it is a two-mile walk to Victory Park and back.

You can also keep walking to Stirling Books & Brew and then over to McAuliffe Park (or bike or drive) for 11:30 Ribbon Cutting on the trail extension there!
FEEL FREE TO PARK behind Stirling Books & Brew for the day, and make Stirling your “home base” while you enjoy the activities at both ends of the trail and all along the trail.
