General Guide May 2017 is updated here including a few corrections and changes

There are a few things about General Guide XXIV that are a little bit different. The General Guide is now folded double wide, and the name is slightly changed to include more of Marshall and Calhoun County. General Guide XXIV- the Local Food Edition – was distributed in Albion and Marshall the weekend of Saturday April 29, 2017. In Albion, it was inside the Morning Star shopper newspaper. In Marshall, city residents received the Guide inside the AdVisor & Chronicle.  There are posts from this time period below.

This issue is sponsored by the Albion Food Hub.  We will be posting some Albion Food Hub and local food-related information in the upcoming month.  We will also get all these events posted to our calendar page that will have links to the original sources of information.    General Guide XXIV is also sponsored by Albion Marshall Resilient Communities Project,  Schuler’s Restaurant, and Stirling Books and Brew.  Please note there are a couple of corrections to the calendars that were printed. One is that the War & Treaty video at the Bohm Theatre changed dates due to construction on Superior Street causing issues with the water main.  Another correction is that Books & Brew will be opening later than expected, due to an accident.  Also please note that Marshall Schools are open until Tuesday, June 13, 2017.  The Albion French Market took place on Saturday, June 10, 2017.  You may click on the images above to access a printable pdf.
