GENERAL GUIDE – ISSUE XXXIV – 2019

General Guide XXXIV – 2019 Annual Edition was delivered in the Morning Star shopper newspaper to homes in Albion the weekend of December 28th, 2018.     It was also delivered to homes in Marshall as an insert in the Ad-Visor & Chronicle.

This issue of the General Guide has a circulation of 15,000 copies. We will be offering more photos, articles, news streams, art, and maps online coming in 2019!

The mission of the General Guide is to build bridges between Albion and Marshall, which is increasingly important as students from both communities attend school together and we can all appreciate learning about the different opportunities to connect in both cities. The General Guide showcases cultural places and events along the I-94 corridor between Battle Creek and Jackson, including Albion, Marshall, and Homer.

Get your copy of the General Guide by looking in this weekend’s shopper newspapers or visiting one of the businesses listed. Please thank the participating organizations who make this public service possible by giving them your business. We can all make a difference in our community when we give of our time, talent, or treasures.

All these events are posted on Google calendars online with links to official information about each event, and a directory of area calendars for many destinations and organizations. There are also Google maps with walking tours of downtown places to see the arts and culture including the Purple Gang tour in Albion. Come back to visit this page often for new information on entertainment, developments, cross-cultural events, outdoor fun, and Marshall Public Schools’ open houses.

If your business would like to support the inclusive sharing of local highlights and help generate more business in the regional economy through the General Guide – please contact us by clicking here.

The best thing about the General Guide are the Google calendars online with links to official information about each event, and a directory to area calendars for many destinations and organizations. The Google calendars can be synced with personal device calendars for handy access to fun things to do locally. Visit GeneralGuide.net for information on education, events, entertainment, progress, cultural sharing, and tourism.
