It also shows the nearby Kalamazoo River and parks. The Kalamazoo River curves through Albion. In the distance is Superior Street, which is under construction and the new hotel being built. Albion’s Market Place at Stoffer’s Plaza was especially busy on June 10, 2017 when the French Market took place. This view of Stoffer Plaza shows the good turnout for the French Market, but also the picturesque nature of Albion’s downtown landscape with the river. The new Ludington Center can be seen in the distance, and in the far back the Albion Train Depot. The French Market brought in good crowds, in part due to the wonderful weather, but also the hard work and planning of the Sister City Committee.
